Understanding a Project
How to get a better understanding of a project:
The main purpose of a research project is to gain a wide range of information that can lead to further comers of a field of your thesis. Doing extensive research during a project can be very difficult, especially doing both Primary and Secondary research.
"A research paper presents an original thesis, or purpose statement, about a topic and develops that thesis with information gathered from a variety of sources".
Primary: 'Research that you conduct yourself'
Secondary: 'Research that you find from another source'
Because there a lot of different types of primary and secondary research, a way to get a lot of useful research done will be to do four of each. For example;

- Film analysis
- Vox Pop
- Interview
- Survey
Secondary:
- Books
- Newspapers
- Websites
- Online sources
For a project like finding out what a group of people think about a certain product, opt for something such as a Vox Pop where you ask the same questions to a significant amount of people and gather the statistics. For a secondary research, go to online sources like statistics or surveys that have been done on the same project.
A Conclusion:
As a conclusion, you must state how your primary research and secondary research has had an impact on the result of your project. State in your evaluation what you would have done differently in your research such as "if I were to do it again, I would have opted to do focus group rather then a Vox Pop because it would have gotten a wider range of opinions".
