Studio and street photography

Studio...

Lighting:
We applied an orange gel and a purple gel on the key light and the fill light We left the back light white and turned down the brightness setting to half way so that the exposure won't go funny.  Altogether we used:
  • Fill lighting
  • Key lighting
  • Back lighting
Exposure:
Because the lighting was so bright, it took a few trail and error photographs to get the perfect exposure and focus.

Experiences:
I wanted my photos to turn out with a slight hint of bold colour yet I wanted the background to be white. This, I feel was very close to how I imagined it turning out.

Street...

The lighting the I used for my street photography was natural lighting. Getting the perfect photos to put on my last 2 magazine covers was overall a lot simpler then the studio photography as I had to use artificial lighting.

One big problem was that the sun kept appearing from the other side of the building that i was shooting in front of which resulted in exposure changes.
I added a pink tint to the photo because the background of my magazine is the same colour as the blue in the photograph this will mean that I will have a complimentary colour scheme.
