The Fat Cat / Zero
The Fat Cat:
This animation was written and directed by "Mole Hill" they etched the drawings out of wax.
There is a very strong political message behind the story about greed and how "whatever fat cat wants it will get". The cat is symbolises the greed and selfishness in todays society and the government. The fat cat also takes food from the mice then eats them whole so maybe this depicts another symbol for the governments greed.
The narrator is speaking very bluntly and in simple grammar.
ZERO:
This is a 12 minute short film that was sweet and had a much needed message. It was created using non stop motion which included wool people.
the animators did a very good job of creating a large variety of characters.
