MaNy a MOoN

Title- “many a moon”

Tagline - “It’s all in your head”

Synopsis - A physicist is explaining to a mad man how they have come to the conclusion that  time travel is very easy to do, because of him discovering it. To be able to time travel you have to reach a certain part of your brain that you do not use as you only use 10% of your brain. Time travel is the equivalent of being lost in limbo.

Target audience -  15-50 year olds

Characters  -
  • A physicist/doctor - Dr Novak (antagonist)
  • A normal male civilian in his early twenties who thinks he’s insane - Cedric Quinn (protagonist)

3-act structure -
Beginning:
  • Dr Novak invites Cedric into his study inside the lab, they have a minor nn-emotional conversation (small talk) before they get into the fact that he can manipulate his past with his mind.
  • Cedric is not understanding what Dr Novak is saying, he explains it in a simpler way using stationary and utensils found in his study.
  • Cedric is having a very nervous breakdown while he is talking to him, he refers him to a mental ward

Setting- In my head I wanted the story to be set in a lab in a forest full of pine trees, with a time set of the late 70s, and that being C.E.R.N.S best kept secret. But, realistically i would have to shoot in one of the classrooms at college and decorate the room so that it looks a lot darker and more like a study then a classroom.
