look book pages

Pages!

My idea for the pages in my look book i have created a bunch of polyvores for the different onscreen film and series, i am portraying as people. My idea includes taking photos of different people that fit the aesthetic of the film/series.

First of all, I have challenged myself to choose a certain colour scheme for the photoshoot depending on what era the production is set. For example... For The Life Aquatic, the contrast of colour used by Wes Anderson are red, blue and white. This was mainly to convey themes of passion, melancholy and beauty. For my photoshoot I will be using a Gobo (projector) and find a portrait of the sea to project on to the muse. For dramatisation, I want to dress the model in a costume similar to the one seen in the film. As it is a mesh of film as a whole, I would prefer to include an aspect of every character into the portrait.

The film is set during the 20th century so the colours will be dulled down to a pastel theme.

Backgrounds!

The backgrounds on my polyvores will either be photos that i have taken or (if worse comes to worse), take them from the unsplash website which is a sight were you can download pictures that other photographers for free. This will be the case if I need a photograph that was taken in a different country or in a specific atmosphere that I know I won't get in England.
